A Baltimore County Police officer has been taken to Shock Trauma after he was injured while trying to stop a stolen vehicle.
Lt. Robert McCullough tells WBAL Radio it happened around 4 o'clock this afternoon at Sudbrook Lane and Reisterstown Road in Pikesville as the officer was out of his vehicle and investigating a stolen car.
He says the driver took off and then struck a police cruiser and a passenger car.
The suspect took off on foot but was captured at the Suburban Country Club golf course.
The officer is being looked over by doctors for injuries he received when he was struck by the stolen car.
