A judge sentenced a Fruitland man to 15 years in prison for producing child pornography.
Russell Burnet, 44, will begin his federal sentence after being released from a state prison. He'll also be subject to lifetime supervision.
Fruitland police began an investigation into Burnett after several sex assaults against minors were reported in April 2009. Police said Burnett had touched some of the children and taken photos of some of them without clothes.
A police seizure of several of Burnett's computers and storage devices uncovered photographs and a pornographic video of one of the children in the neighborhood, with him visible in the video, authorities said.
Burnett is currently serving 15 years in prison after being convicted in state court on three counts of sexual assault.
