Baltimore County State's Attorney Scott Shellenberger talks about his decision in this case.
The Baltimore County State's Attorney says that his office will not file any charges against the Perry Hall home owner who shot and killed an intruder in late March.
On March 28, 68-year-old William Bozman shot and killed 29 year old Marvin Cook as he broke into his home.
State's Attorney Scott Shellenberger said today that he completed his review of the case and determined the shooting was "justified."
Cook had an extensive criminal record, including a conviction for attempted murder, for which he served 5 1/2 years in prison.
Police say Bozman woke up on the morning of the break-in to see Cook standing over him. Bozman, who owns a towing company used his own gun to shoot Cook several times when the intruder began walking towards him.
