Baltimore County Police responded to a shooting Wednesday night that turned into a barricade situation in Dundalk.

Police notified the public at around 9:20 p.m. of the shooting in the 2100 block of Larkhall Road and urged people to avoid the area and residents to shelter in place.

Since then, police presence in the area has been strong, with several cars, including armored vehicles, according to WJZ.

A spotlight remains lit on one home on Larkhall Road, where police are standing behind vehicles and setting up rifles.

Neighbors told WJZ that they heard two shots fired, followed by an argument, before police arrived. Once police arrived, they heard more shots ring out.

Larkhall Road is nestled between Iverness Park and Key Landing Boat House on the peninsula between Lynch Cove and Chink Creek.
