**Retiree Secretary Bachman communicated with Fran this morning. She provided a more detailed understanding of Dave’s battle with Leukemia, and wanted to share it.**

“He was diagnosed with Leukemia in Fall 2024. He endured multiple rounds of chemo and underwent a bone marrow transplant. It was successful for 6 months then the cancer returned. He then underwent 2 rounds of chemo only to have the Leukemia resistant and uncontrollable. He continued to receive treatment in order to attend his daughter’s wedding on February 14 which he did. He went into Hospice after that.”
