Timothy Francis Casey
The Lodge regrets to announce the passing of Timothy Casey, the Father of Brother Sean Casey of Precinct 4-Pikesville.
Timothy Francis Casey (January 27, 1947 – July 4, 2025) passed peacefully in his home on July 4, 2025, after a life well lived. Preceded in death by his parents Allen Wesley Casey, Jr. and Catherine Helen Casey (nee Mank), two sisters: Patricia Graham (Edward) and Kathleen Henn (James) and his first wife Gloria Ann Casey (nee Hyatt). He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta, his children: Amy (Will), Sean (Lori), step children: Janet (Chris), Steven (Tanya) and his grandchildren: Wyatt, Harrison Grant, Gavin, Liliana, Zoe and Cole.
A native of Baltimore, he attended Shrine of the Little Flower for grade school where he was introduced to drum and bugle corps. He graduated from Calvert Hall College High School in 1965. After briefly attending community college he enlisted in the Marine Corps where he served from September 6, 1967 to February 1, 1971. He was stationed in Washington, D.C. with the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, “The Commandant’s Own” with whom he played the soprano bugle and mellophone.
Drum and Bugle Corps was an important part of his life as a performer, teacher, administrator and parent. Once he retired from the Marines, he marched with The Yankee Rebels Drum and Bugle Corps and was a leader with the Maryland Cavaliers. He was inducted into the Maryland Drum Corps Hall of Fame in 2022.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Baltimore. After graduation, he was employed as an accountant with several companies, including Mars Supermarkets, and retired from Cloverland Dairy/Royal Farms in 2011 after 25 years.
Besides music Tim enjoyed reading, word games, puzzles, classic movies, bowling and traveling, especially cruising. He never tired of a trip to the ocean for rest and relaxation.
He will be greatly missed.
No services are scheduled at this time. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial is being planned.
