Sadly, the Lodge has been advised of the passing of Brother James Wagster Jr.  We offer James’ family our deepest sympathies.

“On February 20th, 2026, James Lynn Wagster, Jr. of Baltimore, passed away. James was the beloved husband of Deborra Wagster for 44 years; devoted father of Matthew D. Wagster and the late Lisa Ann Anderson; cherished grandfather of Kelli Mizell, Emily Jones, Brady Anderson, Addison Wagster, and Cassidy Wagster; proud Pop-Pop to Hazel and Luca. James is also survived by many loving family and friends.

James devoted 48 years of his life to serving Baltimore County and Baltimore City as a detective and as a civilian. Throughout his long career, he was known for his bravery, expertise, and commitment to helping bring justice to his community.

Outside of his career, James truly embraced life. He had a deep love for riding his Harley-Davidson, finding peace and freedom on the open road. He enjoyed camping across the United States, always ready for the next adventure. He especially treasured his time adventuring with his “Blue Blood Brothers”.

Above all, James loved his wife, Deborra, who was his biggest advocate and friend. Together they shared a wonderful sense of humor (and sarcasm) that carried them through life’s ups and downs. Their laughter and partnership were at the heart of everything they did.

James will be remembered for his dedication, his adventurous spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.”

There are no events scheduled at this time, but you can still show your support by sending flowers directly to the family, or plant a tree in memory of James Lynn Wagster Jr.
